Day 6 –Star Wars Day at Sea

This morning we woke up and headed down Enchanted Garden for breakfast. We were seated in a different area from where we have dinner. It was nice to see a different part of the restaurant. This morning’s breakfast was a buffet. There was tons of food to choose from, I went with the ham & cheese omelet, chocolate donut, chocolate chip pancake, bacon, watermelon, and pineapple. The guide in Mexico said the try pineapple with a little bit of salt, so I did it was interesting.

Next up was heading to Animators for pictures with Chewie, C3P0, and R2D2. It was not well organized which was surprising for Disney. Once we got checked in for our pictures it was very quickly. After pictures we went to Buena Vista Theater and watched the 1^st 3 episodes of The Mandalorin.

Now it was time to walk around a little. We did a lap on Deck 4, which was fun to enjoy the weather and walk a little. We decided to stop at Vista Café on Deck 4 and have a coffee and people watch. I had a Death Star cookie (it was yummy). There were tons of people out with costumes. We saw some dressed like Luke Skywalker. I assume some of the people were Disney employees. We saw a Mandalorian and an Imperial Officer.

We decided to stay on Deck 4 and wait for the Star Wars at Light speed. It was 3 actors that recapped episodes 4-6 in 20 minutes. It was very funny. I would watch that one again.

Now it is 2:30 and we have been gone from our room since 8:30! We went back to the room and ordered some room service. We decided to get a pepperoni pizza and grilled cheese. While we waited on room service we took turns running up to Sweet on you and getting a cupcake. Mom got a Darth Vader cupcake (chocolate cupcake, chocolate frosting with a cherry hidden inside). I selected the Unicorn Vanilla cupcake (funfetti cupcake with strawberry jam inside).

Todays in room movie selections were Princess and the Frog, Little Mermaid, and Muppets Treasure Island.

Dinner tonight was also Star Wars Themed and was back at Enchanted Garden. All the staff were dressed as Imperial officers.

For an appetizer from the Planet Naboo, I had Marinated Opee Sea Killer – dill marinated shrimp on Iceberg Lettuce with Gooberfish Caviar, cucumber, lemon and cocktail sauce.

My entrée was from the Plant Coruscant, Qui-Gon’s Crisp Chicken- Force crushed Mashed Potatoes, buttered green beans, biscuit, and smoked Bacon sauce.

Dessert was from Cloud City, Han Solo’s Frozen Carbonite Sundae – vanilla and Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Carmel popcorn and whipped cream.

After dinner we headed to the Walt Disney Theater to watch The Rise of Skywalker. The movie was really good it was fun to watch it in a large theater. The movie ended and it was time to head to Deck 11 for the Summon the Force deck show.

Storm Troopers, Darth Vader, Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren, Mandalorin

They had a lot of characters up there: storm tropper, Darth Vader, chewie, C3P0, R2D2, Kye Loren, Rey, Mandalorian. Right after the show were some fireworks. It was fun to have 2 nights of fireworks. Then we went into Cabanas to see how they had decorated the after show buffet. There was a lot of Star Wars memorabilia all around, which was really cool to see. We didn’t get anything to eat.
