This morning we work up about 7 am and had some room service delivered. We went with some fruit, bagel (me), English muffin (mom). We wanted to have time to relax before we started the 5K.

Once it was time to get off we headed downstairs and walked to the start/finish line. It is very low key when we got to the start line the timer had been going for 6 minutes. The race starts promptly at 8:50am and then you just join in as you arrive. It was very bust for about the 1st mile then all the people running had passed us, so we had a little more space to enjoy our walk. Once you finished the race you received a medal. I might wait next time until 9 or even 9:05 let a few more people get spaced out before coming to the loop section. If the Disney employees leave before you get your finish you can just pick one up later. The shop right next to the finish line sold some 5K shirt, but we didn’t find anything that we liked.

We then walked back to the ship to change for time at the beach. It is about a 15 minute walk from the finish line for the race and then up 10 flights of stairs. We ended up walking over 9 miles bu the end of the day. We waited on the ship until we knew it was time for lunch and walked down to the Cookies. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, a little potato salad, chili, banana bread, pineapple loaf, cookie, and fresh fruit. I didn’t eat everything on my plate. I hate wasting food, but I wanted to try everything. I like getting to cookies between 11:30-12:00. The open for lunch at 11:30 and by noon the area is getting packed.

After lunch it was time to look for a spot in the shade. We walked over by Pelican Plunge, but that was busy. Finally we found a spot closer to where the ship was located. We could just barely see the beach, but that was ok. We had an umbrella and a breeze those were the 2 important things to me! We sat there for a while reading and enjoying the weather. We did walk down and put our feet in the water.
After relaxing on the beach we decided to head back to the ship and hang out at Satellite Falls. There were a few people up there, but it was nice a quiet. We were able to watch some rain clouds move in over the ocean. It rained for maybe a minute. When the rain started we decided to go to Currents Bar and have a drink and find a new place to watch the ocean from.

Now it was time for some EYE Scream!!! This was out first time hitting the self-serve ice cream. We decided to sit in the Quiet Cove area and enjoy our ice cream while we people watched. Then came back to the room to watch Avengers Infinity Wars while doing some packing.

When it was time to leave we watched the Disney crew load up a ton of towels! There was a trailer that brought them to the ship then the cast members put the towels into these metal containers to bring them on the ship. All of the metal containers were filled by the time they were done. It was crazy how many towels were used and that was just on the beach!

Right as it was time to leave a rain shower came over the Island. It was really pretty to watch as it moved across Castaway.

Dinner tonight was at Royal Court. For my appetizer I had Tiger Shrimp with Celery Hearts and Remoulade.

For my entrée I went with the Lobster Tail. They come around the take the meat right out of the shell for your. They even came around and offered me some more, so I probably ate about 1 ½ lobster tail!

Dessert was Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice cream. It was a great final dinner on the ship.
I still had 1 more drink on my passport at Skyline, so we headed back there. We saw Tim when we walked in and found our desired seats. Tim came up and said “Julianna, you still have 1 drink left on your passport. Do you want the Paris 75 again?” I am impressed with how much the Disney employees remember. We came to this restaurant 3 times during the 7 nights to finish up our passport drink package.

We decided to head back to the room and finish getting our stuff packed and put out for pickup. Then we watched the play Frozen on TV instead of going downstairs to the Theater. The cruise was a lot of fun now time to plan the next one!
