Woke up nice and early at 4:15am!! Got ready and waited for the Collins family to come and grab mom and I. We loaded up and headed to the airport at about 5:15am. No traffic until we got to the airport, then it was busy there. We found the United counter, got all checked in and dropped off our bags. We were able to all go through TSA pre-check which was awesome because the regular line was long. Once through security we easily found our gate and a place to sit. Jennah and I decided to walk to a different gate section and look for Starbucks. We waited in line to get drinks for 30minutes! That was the longest line we waited in, once we had everyone’s drinks we went to the train back to the main terminal and then another train back to our gate area. We still had about an hour to wait for the plane, which ended up being delayed about 40 minutes.

Once on board we got comfy while everyone else boarded. Once the front doors were closed they came around with drinks (water, orange juice or champagne). Jennah decided on a water I went with the Champagne (I should have asked for the OJ too and made a mimosa).

We made it through the long 5 hour flight to LA. Once we arrived we found a place to sit down (again) and have some lunch. Once we finished with lunch we walked to our gate and found an empty area where we could charge our devices and stand (as well as take our masks off for a few minutes). Our layover was supposed to be about 3.5 hours. When it was almost time for boarding we got a notice that our flight had been delayed 90 minutes due to waiting on staff to arrive. The plane was there and waiting. We were waiting on a pilot to come up from San Diego to cover the flight.

The flight was quick after all the waiting. There were no plugs, so luckily my iPad lasted the flight. Jennah and I watched “The Princess and the Frog”. Once we arrived in Canada we went through the declaration process and quickly made it through customs. From the time the plane landed, making it through customs, and getting out bags it was 30 minutes. We made a bathroom stop and the went to the Sky Train. We got our tickets and quickly boarded the train. The train took about 30 minuets to get to the Waterfront Station. Signs to get to the Sky Train were easy to follow. Getting tickers was easy and not too expensive. The airport is the last/first stop so since there was no one on the train it was easy to get a good spot with room for our bags. It was maybe a 5 minute walk to the hotel from the train station. Check in at the Pan Pacific was nice a quick. Our room had a great view of the pool and the harbor. After quickly getting showers we went to bed (10pm Pacific/1 am EST -21 hours awake!!) and got ready to start a new day.
