Last full day in Firenze we got off to a slow start. Kelle and I decided to go to the cafe on the corner to get an espresso. We stopped in at Bar Francesconi at Via del Ponte Sospeso 38. They have some breakfast times, but we just decided to get the Espresso. It was 2,40€ for the 2 Espressos.

We walked to a little pastry shop we saw open last night, but it was no open this morning. Evidently they are only open at night which was interesting. We stopped into a pharmacy to see if they had any contact solution for Kelle (they did not). So we walked a little farther and found a little breakfast place open. We found Bar Pasiscceria Pegaso they had some sandwiches, corrento, and tarts. We grabbed 4 cornetto – Nutella, chocolate, creme, and pistachio. She put them on a plate and we heard someone ask in Italian for a bag, so we were able to communicate the same. We were trying our Italian and not assuming anyone spoke English. We took them back to the Flat and got the girls up.
Once we were done with breakfast we headed towards the train station for the hop-on-hop off Bus by the train station. It was a little confusing to find the place, but we finally found it. it was really busy and we had to wait for the 2nd bus which was about 10 minutes behind the one we just saw. Luckily on the next bust there was no one in the back on the top, so we were able to sit up the top it was so much nicer.

We road the bus all the way around and back to the train station. We got a good overview over of the city and the decided to stop for lunch. We got off and headed towards central market. Kelle had something she wanted to look for back by the market. We saw a little sandwich place that wasn’t busy so we stopped in there for lunch. We stopped at L’incontro Cafeteria.

After lunch we looked in a few shops and then headed over to Piazza dell’Indipendenza to catch the hop on hop off bus again. It was a little busy on the bus. Jennah and I got seats together towards the back, but Kelle and Bella couldn’t find 2 seats together. The next stop was back at the train station and more people got off, so we were able to all get back together. We road the bus again to the stop near Piazza della Signoria. We walked around a little more then jumped back on the bus to catch a stop closer to our Flat.

Stop 6 on the bus was a short walk to our Flat, so when they announced stop 6 we got up to head downstairs. We hadn’t even made it to the steps and they started moving again! So once downstairs we asked about stop 6 and they were shocked someone wanted to get off. They pulled up at a bus stop and let us get off, then it was only a short 5 minute walk to the Flat. Kelle saw an eye glass store and was able to go inside and get some contact solution. Then we headed over the store, so we could make some dinner at home. We wanted to get an earlier start on laundry tonight since we leave in the morning.

Great to read you are having a wonderful time! Thanks for sharing!
