This morning is pack up day and off to our next city. We headed down the bar/cafe about a 5 min walk from the flat. In broken Italian we ordered our food and ate in the cafe. 

Then we headed back to the hotel to make our train lunches and grab our stuff to start our walk to the train station. Once at the we decided to look around at the shops. We saw some really pretty things but weren’t sure how we would get the breakable items home with still having a few more cities to explore. 

Kelle and Bella headed to an area to buy Bella a new suitcase. Jennah I stayed behind to watch the bags so we didn’t have to drag everything up and down the stairs. Then it was time for some pre lunch Gelato! 

After that we stopped on another store that had a wide range of things from dishes to crafts to candy. We found a public toilet and paid our 1€ each to use the restroom before heading up to train platform to check on our train. It was a little late, but we found a place to sit before the platform was posted. Once on the platform it was clearly naked with the carriage numbers so we knew what train car to get into. We stored our bags as we got on board and found our seats. We went with the facing seats and table, so we could play games and eat out packed lunch. It was a little squishy with the leg room under the table. The traIn ride was about 2.5 hours. We played a few card games to kill some time during the ride.

Once we arrived we headed to our hotel. We walked past it because there were no signs. We finally found the hotel and got all checked in. We are staying at the BW Premier Collection CHC Continental Venice. When we walked into the room it was so hot and humid! It has where you have to put the key in to get the lights and AC to work. The room and the beds were large. There were robes and slippers for Kelle and I which was cool.

Since it was so hot in the room we figured we should just go out and explore. We headed towards the mask place Ca’Macana. We got a little lost of the alleys are crazy, but we finally found the correct place. There still had space so we were able to get in to make a mask. It was a little different than last summer. This time we left the main store and took a few more turns to a studio to do our masks. We had a fun time making those and then started walking back looking for a place for dinner. We passed 2 places I ate at last summer.

We stopped in at Osteria ae Cravate for dinner.

On the way back to the hotel we checked a few places for dessert. We found a cute little place with cannoli and cookies. Jennah got a chocolate chip cookie warmed up. Bella and I had cannoli. The bar at the front of our hotel had take away drinks, so kelle and I stopped in and got a drink to take back to the room. We sent the girls ahead and the realized we needed a key to get to the stairs. Luckily we were able to text them to come down and let us in. When we got back to the room it was still so hot! I called the front desk and they said we need to leave a key in so the AC will run while we are out. We were only given 1 key at check in so Jennah went down to the desk to get a key. After 2 hours of being in the room we called then front desk to ask again about the air. They sent someone up and the guy did a few things and we could feel air start to blow, but it never ended up cooling down.
