Woke up this morning and packed up to head to our next city. We walked up the street and had breakfast at La Croissanterie

This hotel we had to take out our own trash which was an adventure. We found the trash area which of course smelled awful. After getting our room all cleaned we headed down to the bus station to catch the bus. It was a quick 5 minute walk down to the station. We bought our tickets on line, so we just had to show them to the driver and get on board. It was nice and easy.

The bus made 2 stops before arriving at the airport and only took 30 minutes. The bus dropped off at terminal 2 and we were in terminal 1 B so we had a good walk. I saw a Starbucks outside of security so we decided to drop off our bags before heading over there. When checking in they said the flight was full and would check additional bags so we were able to check all 5 of our bags which was nice. Once you dropped off your bags it put you right into security, so I wasn’t able to swing by Starbucks and see if they had any different cups I needed. At the airports in Europe I’ve had to take off my Apple Watch because it sets off the sensors which is interesting. Once through security we walked around and checked out a few stores and then found a place to sit down for a little while. As it got closer to our flight we grabbed some sandwiches and a drink there was a combo for 5€ so we did that for a nice cheap lunch especially at the airport. Then it was finally time for our next flight. As we got on I was extremely glad that I had checked the last suitcase as overhead space was full and we had to wait for bags anyways what is 1 more. The flight was a little bumpy due to clouds but very quick. It didn’t take long for our bags to arrive.
Once we had our bags we went over to check on metro tickets. There were option for 1 trip or day passes. We figured the 5 day pass was our best bet, but we were a little confused about the zones. We went to the desk to check that all the paces we needed to go were covered with that zone. Luckily ORY (the airport we flew into), Charles de Gaulle (where we leave, and Paris city center. I think it was 65€ for 5 days. We jumped onto the ORYL tram and took it to the Antony stop and then hopped onto the RER B to the city center. We were working with the girls to show them how to head the team schedule and make sure they got on the train going in the correct location. It is so hard riding the metro with luggage. I am so glad that we have small bags. We made it to our station and had some stairs to walk up. Jennah has been taking the emoji bag and pulling it on her suitcase when we go places. She was having some trouble carrying it up all the stairs, so I was taking it from her and a nice young man offered to carry the bag up the stairs for us. Once off the metro we less than a 5 minute walk from our hotel.
We past a really pretty church and several restaurants. The door for our place was hidden between 2 restaurants. To get into the building we used a QR code. The same code was used to open our door. It was really cool and great so you don’t have to worry about a key. Now we just have to make sure at least 1 person’s phone still has battery to open the door.

After we started some clothes in the wash we decided to head downstairs to L’as de Trefle to get a drink. It was happy hour so they had several options for 5€.

Kelle and I decided on the Cuba Libre and the girls had virgin Pina Colada. While we relaxed we decided on what to go see first.

Then we headed off in the direction of the Louve. We decided we weren’t going to go and tour the Louve since it is just so large and takes so much time.

We walked around the outside and got some glimpses of the Eiffel Tower.

We walked along the Siene for a little while and headed towards the Norte Dame. We didn’t make it over there today. We decided to head back towards our Flat and look for dinner.

We stopped at Le Louchebem for dinner. We found a nice spot on the corner so we could do some people watching.

As we were eating there were about 6 military personnel walking around in uniform with their guns.

It was very odd they stayed in the park for maybe 5 minutes and the left and headed down the road. We walked through the park on our way home and could see a little playground and found a dog park. I think the girls were more excited about the dog park. Luckily it is really close to our flat so they can go and watch dogs another day.
