Woke up at 7am to get ready to head over to the Eiffel Tower. There weren’t a lot of restaurants between our place and the metro that served breakfast, so we decided to head for the metro. The metro line we needed was under construction so we headed up to catch another line. Once we left the metro station we saw a place and decided to stop for breakfast. Le Depart at Saint-Michel was right outside the metro exit, so we just stopped there.

We had a nice view to watch people. We did see some paramedics go down into the metro and bring one person up. The person walked on their own coming up. We left before everything finished.

We had cafe au lair. Jennah was putting in the milk for me.
Jennah had crepes with chocolate sauce and whip cream
Bella had crepes with Nutella and bananas
Jennah shared her whip cream so I could add some to my coffee
The door to the bathroom had a hole where a window maybe was.

After breakfast we headed to a different line and after 2 stops that one ended and you had to go up and catch the bus that was covering the stops.

Finally we were in the correct area and started walking toward the Eiffel Tower. Since we waited so long we couldn’t buy tickets online and had to get in the super long line for people trying to get tickets to go up. We waited in line for at least 30 minutes to go to the ticket booth. Once there were found out we couldn’t go up to the top floor. From what we learned from someone else once they hit 1,000 people at the top they limit how many people can go up for a while and stop selling top floor tickets. Since we were already there we accepted going to the 2nd floor. We took the lift up and walked around. The Tower is in the process of getting new paint and being fixed up so you couldn’t make it all the way around. It was super busy and I’m glad we didn’t have to wait in another line to make it up to the top. We were able to get some good pictures and they weather was nice. In the low 70s the sun makes it a little hot.

After we finished with the Eiffel Tower we stopped for lunch. We stopped at the Bistrot de La tour Eiffel.

I had the club sandwich.

Then we caught a bus and headed over to the Musee Rodin and looked around. There were some really pretty flowers in the garden.

The thinker
Building on the left to the Musée Rodin, Gold dome is the Hotel national des Invalides, between the girls you can just see the thinker and off the right Eiffel Tower

Then back onto the metro to head towards the Norte Dame. We first stopped by Shakespeare and Company a used bookstore. The line was so long we just took a picture and walked past

Then we headed across the street to look at the Norte Dame. It is still under construction, so you can just look at the front.

On our way back to the Flat we decided to stop for a drink at HD Diner. I had a strawberry Mojito. Jennah thought it was silly I made it look like she was drinking my drink.
Stopped at Boulangerie Julien for dessert and breakfast for tomorrow
Jennah had a chocolate Flan
Millefeuille, Eclair, strawberry tart
My baguette 🥖
We also stopped at a fruit stand to get some strawberries and peaches.

After spending a little time relaxing and doing laundry we were trying to decide where to go for dinner. There are tons of places near the flat which is really nice. We decided to try a Mexican restaurant about a 5 min walk away. We ate at Aztec restaurant. They opened at 7pm, so we were the first to arrive. By the time we left it was starting to get busy.

Aztec restaurant.
Beef chimichanga
Bella had a chicken bowl

After dinner we stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things. Then headed back to the flat to relax, watch tv and plan what we want to do tomorrow .
