Liverpool, England September 14, 2022

This morning we arrived in Liverpool. We headed up to Cabanas to get something to eat before we headed out to check out the town. It was low tide when we arrived this morning, so it was a steep walk up to the road! Once out of the port area we walked over to The Three Graces to find the hop-on-hop-off bus tour. Liverpool is well know for the Beatles.

Cool car at the port entry
We walked past 1 of the Beatles statues

We rode that around town once getting some history and seeing where everything is located. once going around once we had an idea of where we wanted to jump off and do some shopping. I wanted to get a new Pandora charm and look for a new Starbucks mug.

We jumped back on the bus and rode over to the Liverpool Cathedral. There was a short service going on when we arrived and there was also a book of Condolence that you could sign for the Queen.

We saw a man creating a dog sand sculpture
Lots of people out for the Maritime Moment to honor Queen Elizabeth II. There was a man playing bagpipes, the boats blew their horns. It was really cool
More memorials around town.

After the maritime memorial Mom and I headed back to the ship. Dad headed back to the ship to watch the Maritime moment from on the ship. Mom and I grabbed a bite of pizza and sat outside while we ate.

Irish coffee

It was a little chilly so we decided to grab a coffee and hangout and enjoy the view.

Low tide when we arrived this morning.
High tide when we got back from walking around.
Tonight we were back at Rapunzel’s for dinner. They had a lantern show.
Crisp Arendelle shrimp- with a pea purée, fried potato, pancetta, and pea shoots served with Lemon-tarragon caper mayonnaise
Roman wedge and hot smoked salmon salad with raspberries, candied pecans, Brie, served with a lemon-parsley dressing
Prime rib with twice baked potato and veggies
Pan fry sweet bread with powder sugar, chocolate sugar and vanilla ice cream
After dinner we watched the pilot boat fight the waves to stay with the boat and get the pilot back off of the ship. It was pretty entertaining.

Then mom and I decided to go down to the movie the theater and watch Thor Love and Thunder. It was pretty silly. There were fireworks also but we decided to skip then because it was a little cold and windy outside.
