This morning woke up early to get breakfast before our excursion. We headed up to Cabanas again since it is the fastest place to go and was open. By 8am we were down at in deck 3 at Fathoms waiting for our excursion to being.

We boarded the coach and heard to Glasgow and out to Falkirk to check out the Falkirk Wheel. It was about a 90minute drive through the Scottish County side. The ride started to make me sleepy and I did have to close my eyes a few times and take a little snooze.

When we arrived at the Falkirk Wheel we had a little time to walk around and check out the wheel and of course the gift shop. Then it was time for the wheel. We boarded a small boat to take us up the wheel. Once the boat has rotated to the top we go out of the wheel and make a little turn around in the lock. There were additional locks that you could keep going up and travel farther down river. We just turned around and headed back down. It was an interesting little trip.

Then back on the coach to head off to Stirling. There we had lunch at the Birds and Bees.

Then drove into the town of Stirling to walk around. There was a mall that sold a few souvenirs but nothing great.

Then it was time to board the boat and head back to the port. We arrived at 4:45 and there were tons of bus coming back to the boat for loading. We didn’t get in the boat until a little after 5pm. The all aboard time was 5pm but there were so many buses that got back from the excursions at the same time it took a while to get everyone on board. There was a bagpipe band playing while we boarded which was cool. We went up to the room to watch the sailing away before heading down to dinner

Dinner tonight was a Lumiere’s.

After dinner we headed up to deck 9 to get a drink and sit outside. Mom and I decided to do a load of laundry to make sure we had everything we needed for our next few days in London.
