September 17, 2022 – Day at Sea

Today was a sea day. Which was a nice way to end the cruise. We had time to relax and get out things gathered and put away. Mom and I found napkin and towel folding that we wanted to do during the day.

Tuxedo
Corn
Mulan Fan
Bird of Paradise
Peter Pan’s boot
It was really pretty outside (a little chilly from the wind) so I say up on Deck 10 to watch Hercules until it was time to go do our next activity. We hit up signals bar for a drink and to relax. There were tons of adults on this trip and I felt like I was on the younger age range of these adults.
The towels were a lot harder to do for sure. They didn’t have large tables, so I had to sit on the floor to try and do them. The first one we tried was a Ray. Mine looked nothing like a ray it was a mess.
Rabbit
Lobster
Dog
Elephant
Dinosaur
Monkey
My monkey started to unroll 😦
When we left towel folding they told us to make something for our stateroom host and see what they would respond with. I made the lobster since that was one of the easier one.

Before dinner we decided to stop at O’Gil’s pub to have a drink and relax. I still had some credit, so we also need to spend some money. 🙂 Mom and I looked in the shops but didn’t really see anything that we wanted. I did get a new Pandora Charm bracelet. I bought too many charms while we were out in the different ports.

Dinner the last night was at Animator’s, so we did our drawings. Mom’s marker was running out, so when her person was up on the screen it looked like she didn’t have a head. It was pretty funny.

Porcini sacchetti – pasta filled with porcini mushrooms, Swiss and Fontana cheese with garlic, thyme and Prosecco wine sauce
Chicken schnitzel – breaded chicken breast fried in butter, served with roasted bacon potatoes, and buttered green beans
Celebration cake- this one is good. Nice and light

After dinner we topped in the Promenade lounge to people watch and relax. Then at 8:30 the lines started for people trying to get into the dinning rooms so we decided to go back the room and get away from everyone.

When we got back to the room we saw John finishing up. So he showed us how to make a peacock with towels and TP for the top head feathers.

Then it was time to make sure we had everything packed up and our luggage out so it could be taken down for debarking in the morning.
