Woke up and headed to Cove Cafe to get a coffee. We sat outside in the comfy chairs watching the world go by. I like that they have blankets out on the Alaskan cruise. They were needed since it is in the 50s with some wind this morning.

When we were back in our room we saw a Pilot boat running along side the ship. At one point the Canadians Pilot got off of the ship and onto the pilot boat. Then the pilot boat headed back to land and the ship picked up some speed.

I worked some on my homework while mom read on the balcony. Then it was time to head up to Palo for brunch. We were a little early, so we looked off the back of the ship. It is windy and chilly today.
At brunch started with a Mimosa. Then had a croissant, followed by a Mickey Waffle with strawberry compote.

Next course was Margherita Pizza, then Lasagna.
We decided to skip dessert since were both super full even with sharing and not eating all our food. As we were leaving the manager asked why we weren’t having dessert and we said we were too full. So he offered to get us something to take back to our room. They don’t let you take your left overs so we were surprised by the offer and I asked for a cinnamon roll. Mom had been talking about wanting to try it. He brought it to us and said if we wanted anything else he was working until midnight and to come ask.

When we got back to our room it was just getting reading to get cleaned, so we hid the cinnamon roll in the drawer (didn’t want to it get cleaned up while we were gone).

Then headed to deck 4 to walk around and enjoy a different view of the water. We walked around the shops again but didn’t see anything we had missed yesterday. They had more blankets this year than they did last year. The price was also increased to you have to spend $60 to buy the $25 blanket. Last year you had to spend $50 to get the $25 blanket.

After that we headed back to the room where our fruit basket cruise gift was waiting for us. Mom decided to take a nap and I read and did some homework. I looked outside and saw a spout, so I grabbed my camera and went onto the deck. I was excited to see a whale, but then saw it’s tail and new it wouldn’t be back up anytime soon. It was swimming in the opposite direction from the ship.

Had some room service tea and relaxed hoping for more whales, but we didn’t see any. We went down to the French quarter lounge to do a 3-D craft. Do you have a choice of captain Minnie or captain Mickey. They were a little hard to glue together. So we cut them out and just brought them back to our room and will try to assemble when we get home. Then we decided to walk around on deck for a little more. It was windy and chilly outside. We headed up to deck 10 to walk around since one section on deck 4 was blocked. It was a really windy up there, when we got to the front of the ship it got really foggy, and then the fog horn started to blow every few minutes. The fog level was super creepy. It was like out of the bad horror movie. We headed back down to the room to relax and watch Captain America Civil War.

Dinner tonight was an animators. I had the black truffle pasta.

I decided to go with the salmon, veggies and baked potato. For dessert I had a cookies and cream sundae. there is a show in animators that starts promptly at seven so we watch that and of course Mickey came out. After dinner, we walked around a little more on deck 4 it is icy cold outside today. We were able to watch the golden Mickeys on the in room TV that was recorded and didn’t have to go down to the theater to watch the show.
