Disney Fantasy Room 6690

Room 6690 is located in the aft and faces off the back of the ship. While in port the ship’s flag was flying and since it was windy we could hear the flag flapping in the wind. I didn’t feel that it blocked any of our view while relaxing out back. Once the ship left port the flag was removed which was nice.

Our room in the room to right of the flag. 2 floors up from Dumbo.

The Drill station is station O which is down on Deck 4 in the Tube. This was nice since it was inside out of the cold rain on embarkation day. It was quick and easy. We also were able to look around at the Tube and see what this bar area had to offer since we had not spent any time here before.

As we were sailing out, we could stand want watch everything we were leaving behind. The verandah was really nice it had 2 chairs, a table, and 2 lounge chairs. There was a ton of space to relax outside which was really nice. While out a sea we had a great view of the ocean and had some protection from the sun while relaxing outside. I enjoyed the loungers since I could lay outside out of the sun, enjoy the sea and relax.

I did feel some movement during the day, but we were at Sea, so I am not really surprised. It may have more than say the middle of the ship, but it didn’t feel too bad the first night and day at Sea.

The back of the ship has been nice a quiet. Not any hallway noise which is good. Getting up to Cabanas is nice and down to the restaurants for dinner is also convenient just hitting the aft stairs to the different dining options.

The back of the ship did have some really pretty views.

The last day at sea was the ship was going about 20 knots and the winds were 40-50 knots, so it was really rocky in the back of the ship. The last night I didn’t go outside as you could hear the wind howling in the verandah area.

I would go back to being more in the middle of the ship and mostly likely wouldn’t pick this room again. It was an amazing room when we were in port tons of space to relax and watch everything in port. Maybe if there were more ports and less time at sea I would like this room more.

While we were on the ship new TVs were being installed on port days. Tuesday when we came back we saw tons of TVs on Deck 6. Wednesday the TV showed up outside of our room and was put in. The remote was super huge compared to the old one. The screen was also larger on the new TVs. They installed 28” LG TVs.

Beautiful sunrise view off the back of the Verandah.
