Day at Sea, February 19, 2024

This morning started out with the Hey Howdy breakfast with Woody and his Friends. When Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye the horse were walking around there were cast members handing out cards that were pre autographed. Makes sense then keep things moving. The characters walked around and took pictures.  Before the pictures there was a little song number by some cast members. It was silly and cute.

I decided on the Biscuit Express – buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy, bacon, hashbrowns, and a grilled tomato. They were a little light on the gravy and the biscuits got a little hard sitting in the warmer. It was a fun thing to do, but not something I would need to do again.

After breakfast we headed up to Deck 11, which was starting to get busy at 9:30am. We found some lounge chairs in the adults only area. We had prefect seats with a nice breeze and in the shade. There were also some really good towel animals. A dragon! The guy who made it said it took him an hour to get all the towels rolled tight enough.

I found my circle chair that I love to chill in. There was a nice breeze coming in which was really nice. It wasn’t too humid outside which was good.
The rare occasion where the lifeguard had everyone out of the pools. It was busy pretty much the entire time especially on the sea days.

After a while of relaxing, we walked around and decided to go up to Deck 13 and play a round of mini golf. It got busy up there too, but was fun to try. It was really windy too,

After golf we headed back to the room and decided to order some room service. We selected pepperoni pizza and a grilled cheese sandwich. Being platinum, we also receive a free room service item, the choices were a sparkling wine, fruit plate, or chocolate truffles. The fruit plate is always for pretty and the fruit amazing.

After a quick nap we headed up to the Spa to get pedicures. That was a nice treat to have done. You can watch out the window at ocean and just relax.

Dinner tonight was in Royal Court. This is one of my favorite nights. They have good appetizers and desserts!

Deep fried Brie with cranberry chutney
Garden salad with blue cheese dressing
Chateaubriand roasted filet steak With greens beans and crushed new potatoes
Grand Mariner soufflé with Tahitian vanilla sauce
Crème Brûlée
After dinner we did some more people watching and checking out the characters.
