Cruise Day February 15, 2025

Cruise day has finally arrived! We made it to the port around noon and were able to get right onto the ship. The Treasure is the newest of the Disney Cruise ships and is really pretty. We headed to Coco’s for a sit down lunch before we decided where to start exploring the ship.

The theme for this ship is Aladdin. The Chandelier in the main lobby is really pretty. I am working on getting more pictures of the lanterns around the outside. Each small lantern has a character to represent the other ships. A glass slipper (Wish), Mickey ears (Magic), Sea Shell (Wonder), Minnie (Fantasy), Donald (Dream), magic lamp (Treasure). I think I get a better picture of the small lanterns to show this later.

Lunch at Coco’s I went with my normal Salmon Salad. It was still a really good choice for starting lunch. While waiting for our food we started looking at the activities to get an idea of what we wanted to do after lunch and on our first Sea day. So many new things to check out on the ship. Dessert was the welcome aboard sundae and then it was time to explore the ship!

As always the decorations going to the restaurant is really cool.

After lunch we walked around and little and then headed up to our room to drop off our bag and check it out. After looking at the room and seeing our new cruise gifts we headed up stairs to check out more of the ship before the muster drill. We found a nice shady spot in the adults lounge to look out and enjoy the weather.

Our muster drill station was inside Periscope Pub which was fin. The ceiling is a giant screen that has fish and sharks that swim around. We could see a few things around the Pub while waiting we will have to come back and get a drink another day. I was very distracted looking for sharks during the entire drill.

After the drill we headed up to Deck 6 to the from of the ship to get a view as it was time to leave. It took a little while before we were actually ready to leave and it was a little windy at the front of the boat we decided to go back to our room and see if our luggage had arrived.

Since there is so many new things to see we decided to head down to the Skipper’s Society and listen to music and get a drink before dinner. Sadly the musicians were having some issues with the sound system, so we just sat there and enjoyed our drink. There was a lot of fun Jungle cruise themed stuff around the room. All tables had cute little lanterns on the during the day.

We ordered some Irish Mules and relaxed just enjoying being back on a ship before heading over to 1923 for dinner.

When we arrived in 1923 we were a little shocked to find that we would be sitting with other people. Usually we get a table to ourselves, but we figured we could handle sitting with someone else. We had a table next o the window which was really nice and enjoyable. We had to close the curtains for the first part of dinner as the sun was setting and it was right in our eyes, but by the end of dinner we were able to open the curtains back up.

I started with a garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, then the 1923 Filet Mignon and lastly an ice cream sundae.

House salad- balsamic vinaigrette dressing
1923 peppered filet mignon- buttered long green beans wrapped in smoked bacon, crushed fingerling potato hash, with pink pepper cafe au lait
Hollywood hills hot fudge sundae -vanilla ice cream, fudge brownie bites, fresher whipped cream, glazed cherry

The grand atrium is really pretty and the Chandelier changes throughout the day which is really pretty. There was not a show tonight just more time to explore the ship and check out all the different areas.
