Nassau April 5, 2025

This morning Suzi and I work up at 6:15 am and headed down to the Spa for a 6:30 am massage. It was us and 1 other person and then they closed the doors back. The Spa dopes not open until 8am, but since they live on the ship and are wanting to make money while on the ship they were willing to get up early. Since I knew I was going to relax I was fine getting up early. The massage was nice and relaxing worth getting up early!

After the massage we went and changed into our bathing suits and headed up to the adults deck.

We stopped in Cove Cafe to get a coffee and learned that they have croissants. They were yummy. We didn’t want to eat a lot since we had brunch at 10am, but we were a little hungry. We have not spent a lot of time in the adults area on the wish, so still learning what things they have. It is different on the older ships they have a pastry case that they show what snacks they have.

After our coffee we went and enjoyed the adults pool that looks off the back of the ship. We saw other ships coming into Nassau. Looks like there were about 5 ships in port. We talked about getting off to explore the port area, but decided not get off the ship.

We headed up to Palo for brunch. We had a table next to the window which was nice. We could see some of the other ships and also the old lighthouse on Nassau. At Palo they have different bread options. We always ask for the Pastries they are more to our liking than the other bread option.

Our pastry plate. The server brought 3 of each so we didn’t have to share and it was way too much food! There was a fruit tart, blueberry muffin, bread with Nutella, and hazelnut filled croissant

We all started with Mickey Waffles. I went to with Strawberry Waffles. Mom and Suzi had Apple Cinnamon. There is so much food that I feel bad for wasting a lot since I cannot finish everything I want to try.

Mickey waffle. I usually only eat the ears!
All the tops for our waffles.

Next we ordered the Margherita Pizza to share. The ship gets their flour from Italy, so they can make it as authentic as possible. It is so good and I want to eat it all, but there is also so many other good things to try!

Next was the lasagna. Not sure how they make it taste so good, but it is so yummy.

Dessert I got the Panna Cotta with strawberry popping pearls which is always a nice and light dessert to end the meal.

After eating all that yummy food it was time to change back into pools clothes and find a nice spot to relax and read. After relaxing in some loungers and reading for a while it was time to get a fruity drink! The line in the adults are was busy and they were running low on cups. We got a paper cup and not one of the nice plastic cups. I had the Infinity Swirl again which is always yummy.

After spending sometime in the sun and hot tub we decided to change and go to the pub for trivia. The Haunted Mansion Trivia. We actually did really well we got 17/20 correct. The ones we missed we couldn’t agree on the correct answer. It was fun and gave us a chance to hang out at the Keg and Compass.

Irish Mule

After trivia we decided to go walk around again enjoy the views in Nassau as ships start to sail out. As ships started to leave we could see some construction on a section of the island that has the lighthouse. We took some pictures, so we can see what progress the next time we are in Nassau.

Dinner tonight was down in Worlds of Marvel.

Iceberg Wedge with candied pecans, smoked bacon lardons, black and globe radish, Maytag blue cheese
Ricotta Gnocchi- Fontina cheese, caramelized grape tomato confit, broccoli rabe, arugula pesto
Mickey ice cream bar. We are fans of the dessert in the restaurant and know you can always ask for a Mickey bar

After dinner we went to relax outside to watch the sunset and Suzi was able to read more in her book. It was pirate night and we thought about staying up for the fireworks at 10:45, but ended up falling asleep before fireworks.
