Woke up around 6 am even thought it was dark in our room. Kelle and I headed up for a 7pm stretch class. That was the first time I have done one on a cruise. It is hard to get up early but it was a good class. It was super foggy outside but the fitness center has a nice view off the ship of the weather cooperates.

After morning stretch we headed over to Cove Cafe for a coffee.
Then the girls were ready to head to Cabanas for breakfast. Bella has been looking forward to the hash browns.

It was pretty foggy and misty this morning which was sad, but hopefully it will clear up later. It made it super cold outside this morning.
After breakfast we headed down to Deck 4 for a nature talk about Alaska. The woman who did the presentation has been kayaking around southeast Alaska for like 20 years. She said she does lots multiple day kayaking trips. Her photos were really pretty but I know I’m not a multiple day in a kayak and camping sort of person.
After her talk we headed over to the shops to see what things we couldn’t live without! I got a new jacket and blanket. We learned that the talks would start playing on the room TVs on Wednesday. So we decided to skip the 2nd talk and go try trivia. It was Marvel Trivia. We got 9 out of 20 correct but it was fun to still give it a try. During trivia we order more coffee and had some beignets.

After Trivia we headed up to Deck 9 to relax and look out at the ocean. It was still super cold!

Luckily there were blankets outside that helped. Once it was time for lunch we headed into Cabanas to see what good things they had. We found a seat outside in Cabanas the sun was finally shining and it felt nice. We go to see a whale off in the distance. You could see it blowing water from its blow hole.

This portion of the trip is a little more open ocean it isn’t as protected so there was a little more movement. Not bad but you could feel the movement more.
We decided to try Deck 10 in the sun to see if it still felt good, but it was cold and windy. Kelle and I decided to head into the rainforest spa to use the sauna and headed lounge chairs. It was pretty busy in there today. We stayed for about an hour before heading back to the room before Spin class. Spin class was another free offering on board. The fitness center looks off the front of the ship, so to make it through the class I focused on looking for whales. Sadly I didn’t see but I did survive the class which was good.
After a quick shower and we dressed up for formal night and headed down for dinner. Dinner tonight was in Animators.

After dinner we went to the room and decided to do a load of laundry. Our room wasn’t ready for sleeping yet so we went to deck 9 to relax while our clothes were in the washing machine. Once our room wasn’t ready we spent sometime on the deck looking for whales. We were starting to see land again which was nice.
