Woke up early this morning to get ready for our excursions for the day. looking outside it is overcast and rainy.

After breakfast we grabbed out stuff and headed to wait for our tour. Our tour group had 9 people which was nice. We like the photo tour since the groups are kept small.

Super foggy, rainy and bumpy out on the boat. Had to keep a hand on the rail especially since we were close to the water. Jennah was the first one to spot a whale and shout out so Captain Andy could move the boat around and get a good view of the animals.

We spent about 2 hours out on the water before having to head back into port. The time always goes by so fast when out on the water. I think it also felt fast since it took a while to find some whales this morning.

Once back on dock we headed out to Mendenhall Glacier for a short hike.

We saw a porcupine up in the tree it was hard to tell in the picture I got. He really blended into the branches.
After a ride back to the ship we stopped in downtown to do some shopping. We decided we needed to start with a coffee since the temperature says it is 51 and rainy outside. We found a cute little store to get coffee before heading out to do some shopping

When we arrived at 8am we were the only ship in port. It is now 1pm and there are 5 other ships in port. So lots of people in downtown. After some shipping we headed back to the ship to grab a quick bite before changing out of our wet shoes.

Kelle and I decided to go to the rain forest spa. We only stayed for about 30 minutes because it was super packed. We had some time to relax on the heated loungers which was nice.

There was a harbor seal that hung around the dock. He would pop his head up every so often.

These 2 photos show the difference in the tides during the day. If you look at the small boat in the photo on the left taken at 6:31 am and the photo on the right was taken at 4:50pm. Juneau gets 2 high and low tides during the day. The next low tide was 8:29pm we started the see the water levels drop before it was time to leave.
Dinner tonight was Tritons we were scheduled to be in port until 9pm so it did look like there were some tables that were empty during dinner.
