November 27, 2025 Lookout Cay

Today we arrived at the newest Disney Island Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. It was also Thanksgiving Day. Mom and I have been here before but it was new for everyone else. We started the morning with some coffee at Cove Cafe while the kids were still sleeping. Nice thing about traveling with teenagers they get up and text me when they want to meet for breakfast.

After checking out the towel animals and grabbing some breakfast it was time for the walk down the pier. It looks super long but is really maybe a 1/2 a mile, so a nice walk in November. The pier is long to protect the coral reefs. Once you walk it, you are handed cool towels. Then a quick tram ride to the main beach area to find some seats. Of course we got distracted by the decorations and shopping. There were some different themed Christmas trees around the Island which were pretty.

Some people went off to grab some chairs. The boys and I headed for the beach. This Island is more like a typical beach with access to the open ocean which means from good waves. Little G loved that and dove right into the water. I think he ended up drinking a good amount of salt water. He kept laughing and would not keep his mouth closed when playing in the ocean.

There is also a splash pad area with some slides and other non salt water areas. The boys and I went over and played there for a while before it was time for lunch. After spending a few hours on the beach, we decided to head back to the ship.

Found some more towel animals: frog, elephant and I am not sure.

We got back on the ship and found a spot on the pool deck. We watched NFL that was playing on the big screen. Tonight a lot of the characters were dressed up for Christmas, yes it is actually Thanksgiving. I saw Minnie and Donald while we were out wandering around.

Ham and cheese croquettes

Dinner was at Enchanted Gardens. The one sad thing about the Fantasy is the dining room lacks shows. Most of the other ships offer these shows. I had some Ham and Cheese croquettes, a Cesar salad. Not sure what my main meal was I didn’t take a picture of that probably Salmon or Steak. The fun thing about traveling with a large group is getting multiple desserts to try and share.
