Headed down to Fort Lauderdale at 7am. For the most part traffic wasn’t too bad. The last mile to forever!!! There were 8 ships in port and only 2 entrances to the port. So I think the last mile took about 30 minutes. We went from supposed to arrive at 11:04am to arriving around 11:30am. Once we got into the parking garage it was still a little crazy dropping our bags off, but we got that taken care of finally. Once we parked we walked right into check in and got right on the ship. That park was much faster than getting into the port.

Once we got on the ship super hero Minnie was out greeting people. We then headed to Pride Lands for some lunch. It was nice to be able to sit down and look around the restaurant. I had my usual a Salmon salad and the welcome aboard sundae.

After lunch we decided to walk around the ship some until I room was ready. We checked out the coffee shops and did some window shopping.

Lots of cool art work to see when you go up and down the stairs.

After the drill it was time for some more exploring of the ship. So much to see this week! We swung by Edna’s to see what desserts she has created. We didn’t buy anything just something to check out for later.

Before dinner we decided to head to the Sanctum and have a drink. We managed to get a table on the circular booth area which is great for people watching.

Dinner tonight was at Pride Lands. There sang some lion king songs and we were pretty close to the stage which was nice. I had a lot shrimp based food for dinner tonight. It was all really good.
