Day at Sea, April 9,2026

Woke up this morning to go get our 5K medals that was hosted by our Facebook group. It cost $5 to get the medal and you do your 5K on your own time.

I tried a bite of everything the plain Mickey waffles are still my favorite. Cookies n cream donut

The art of the theme tour takes you around this ship talking about the different colors and logos around the ship.

It is much warmer today as we head south towards Columbia. Mom and I had breakfast and did the Art of the Theme tour.

Fish Tacos

Today’s anyone can cook is Fish Tacos. They were really good. Dad also talked to the Chef who works at Be Our Guest. Dad was asking about a good place to buy corn tortillas in Orlando. The chef told him to come stop by Be Our Guest and see him the next time they are at Magic Kingdom.

These are the one the chef made for the presentation
Pluto tried to sneak in for some snacks

After that we headed up to deck 9 to read and grab some lunch. I had chicken tenders and some soft serve. I guess I didn’t take pictures of those things.

After lunch it was time for the Art of Coffee. They talked about the history of coffee and how it is grown. We were given 2 drinks but don’t told what we had. The first coffee and whipped cream and the 2 one really tasted for like chai.

The tables were set with some little snacks and a bowl of coffee beans
Some kind of coffee with whipped cream
Possibly chai tasted very cinnamon

After the coffee lesson it was time for a nap (well at least for me). Having an inside room it was just as dark as night time and I’m at the back of the ship so not a lot of people walking past my room.

Chilled Leprechaun- baileys Irish cream, Kahlua, kettle one vodka, vanilla ice cream

After nap time we met up in O’Gills trivia was starting soon. It was sports trivia so we grabbed and drink and played. we got 10/20 correct but it was still fun.

After drinks and trivia we walked on deck 4 prior to dinner. Dinner tonight was at Lumiere’s.

Fried perogies- caramelized onions , sour cream and caviar
Anna’s honey mustard marinated salmon- sautéed spinach, fingerling potatoes, aquavit-sour cream sauce
Elsa’s coronation sundae – mint chocolate chip sundae, marshmallows, whipped cream and snowflakes

Today the ship has had a lot more movement. Not super rough seas but still lots of rocking. It does make simple tasks a little more challenging like walking down the hallway in a straight line.
