We headed down to Sorrento on a Saturday (which was a bad idea). When planing it said the drive would take a little over an hour. When we got ready to leave Saturday morning it was saying an hour and a half. It ended up taking up almost 2 and 1/2 hours to get down there. There were tons of people heading to the coast as well. We made it to Sorrento and were hungry, but decided to stop at this wood working shop before we decided on lunch. We stopped at Gargiulo & Jannuzzi to look at the ceramics and the inlaid wood. There were a lot of amazing pieces. It was a good thing we stopped before we went to lunch they closed from 1-4pm! One of the shop workers told us about a restaurant (that her husband owns) as a place to stop for lunch. She said if we go there to mention her name and tell the waitress if the food isn’t good we don’t have to pay.

So we decided to give the place and try and went off to find the restaurant La Cazzarola. We sat down and decided to have some lunch since we were all hungry. Sorrento is know for their lemons, so a lot of the food related to lemons.

We stopped at Limonoro on Via San Cesareo. As soon as we walked in we were offered a cookie to try. Once we were done eating the cookie someone offered us limoncello. Then we were offered a different treat, then a different limoncello drink. We tried 3 different drinks and at least 3 different treats. It did get me to buy more things that I was planning after trying several different things.
We headed back to the car and decided to head back home. We selected a parking garage near the woodworking place it was pretty cheap compared to some of the other places we have parked in, only €3/hour. The drive back was much faster only about an hour the traffic was much lighter leaving the beach.
I would enjoy shopping more if they fed you while you are inside! Pops
