Day at Sea, April 13,2026

Woke up this morning planning to do laundry, but everyone else had the same idea! Luckily I was able to get clothes in by 8am. I met Mom down at Scat Cat lounge today for coffee.

I had the iced pistachio latte it was really good. We hung out down there while my clothes were in the washer. Then I ran upstairs to put them in the dryer and went back the scat cat. After my clothes were done I went to the D lounge to meet Dad for the anyone can cook demonstration.

Pinto Grigio from Italy.

Today’s wine was a Pinot Grigio from Italy. And the Chef made a salmon dish. It was really good. Lot more steps that I usually use when cooking but I like it.

After that I went and found Mom so we could go grab some lunch. I went for chicken tenders and then soft serve. 🍦 I do wish they had some honey mustard on this ship. The BBQ is good, but honey mustard would be great.

After lunch Mom and I went to the DVC talk so we could get our free shoulder sit guy. They had stitch or Pluto to choose from.

After the talk I went back to my room to put away my clothes and do some work on the internet. I had some emails and work stuff to deal with. Then I went looking for a place outside to hand out. Deck 4 was packed so I got a lap in and then headed down to O’Gills. Mom and Dad headed down there so we grabbed a drink. I’m almost done with my 2nd book!

After having out in the bar I needed to get up and do a lap around the ship. Do a little movement before we spent more time sitting at dinner. Not sure how these days fly by but they sure do. There is so much to do if we want to, I’ve been enjoying ready all these paperback books that I keep carrying around on cruises.

Before dinner I headed down to deck 4 to do a few laps. I saw what I think was a dolphin and some fish jumping out of the water. Dinner tonight was at Animators. So the weird piece of lettuce is a Greek salad. Underneath the piece of lettuce is tomatoes, olives, cucumbers and feta cheese.

Tiramisu-looks odd and the texture was not what I was expecting but it turned out to be really good
Butter pecan ice cream with pieces of pecan pie. Since the tiramisu was good I only ate a few bites of this which was also good

Walked a few laps after dinner and saw some stars. There is star gazing tonight at 10:15 but I do not plan on being awake that late to attend that activity.
