This morning on our way to breakfast we saw a bookstore Kelle had seen on instagram. Just happened to pick the correct side road to walk down. Lots of old books. We just looked at the books in the alley way and didn’t go inside the store.

Then we headed over to Ziggy’s coffee across from Granary Burying Ground. It was pretty busy in there but we grabbed a table which had a nice view of Tremont St to do some people watching. Lots of tourists out on tours which means we saw lots of guides in costume. Even saw someone dressed in the Union Solider uniform carrying a Home Goods bag.

After the tour we walked back to the North End History Museum. We had never seen that before and once we arrived discovered that was because it doesn’t up until Tuesday so hopefully we will have time to come back and check it out. We decided to stop and grab a treat at Mikey’s Pastry for later. We didn’t have breakfast until 10am and it was just after noon so we weren’t hungry yet. We circled back to a sign on the north end we saw when walking around and then headed back to the Faneuil Hall area. We walked through the farmers market going on. There were tons of fruit and veggies for super cheap! We didn’t buy anything but it all looked good.

Then we walked over to Faneuil Hall to do the Enemies to the Country walking tour. This was a free tour done through the National Parks you just had to register for the tour. It started at Faneuil Hall and was need at Copp’s Hill Burying ground on the North end. The tour talked about the different events leading up to the American Revolution.

After we headed to Mike’s Pastry to get some dessert. There were a lot of people but we got through the line quickly.

Then we walked around the farmers market. There was so much fruit and it was so cheap!

There were also several seafood shops down so steps sort of like on the basement of buildings. The steps were crazy. This picture the single crab on the left was still alive and moving!

There was interactive history performance a 1776 Revolutionary town meeting that people could participate in. Kelle thought that sounded fun and I agreed to go as long as I didn’t have to participate. 🤪 Today’s activity theme was to do all the free activities we can. We didn’t pay for any tours today.

It was raining when we left Faneuil Hall so we decided to head back to the room to relax and decide where to watch the World Cup game. The Rays/ Red Sox came was also this afternoon so we were sure how busy things were going to be with the different events. We decided on Rock Bottom Brewery since it was less than a 10 min walk from our hotel and let us make reservations. When we arrived it wasn’t busy which was nice so we were worried about taking up a seat once we finished dinner.

After the end of the France/England game we walked back to the hotel. It was still raining on our walk back to the hotel.
