Woke up super early today to start our trip to Texas. The TSA line took us maybe 10 minutes to get through it wasn’t too bad. I think we waited longer in the Starbucks line than we did for TSA. After a quick flight from Orlando to Atlanta. The first flight the entertainment systems didn’t work in our area which was annoying and I forgot to charge my headphones! We had 2 hrs to wait for our next flight.

We stopped in the lounge and had some breakfast and relaxed. There were lots of yummy choices. I had some peach yogurt, grits with cheese, bagel and some eggs.

The flight from Atlanta to Houston didn’t have any in seat entertainment which was annoying. Luckily the flight was only about 2hrs. Once we landed in Galveston we headed down to grab our stuff. I set up so we would have our driver meet us at baggage claim and we could ended up walking right past him. We had a nice suburban SUV it was really comfy. The ride out to Galveston about an hour.

We are staying at the Temont House. It is one of the most haunted hotels in Galveston. I’ll get some pictures of the outside tomorrow. Our room is on the 4th floor. This is looking down from the 4th floor to the lobby area.

After we stopped out bags off we went walking around to check things out. Found a few things on my list of places. There are lots of really cool murals around.

After walking around for about an hour we decided to get an early dinner. We went to Tequila Rock. It was happy hour so I had a Strawberry Margarita and a grilled chicken salad. Mom said the drink was strong and I disagreed until it was time to start walking again. Then it hit me!

After dinner we went back to the hotel to just relax and turn in early. Right how it is 7:39 pm central time and I could totally fall asleep!
