We flew from Sanford, FL to Plattsburgh, NY on July 3rd (a little behind on my posts). The puppies did great on the plane. It was a little squishy at the feet but everyone did great.

Even though we arrived 2 hrs later than planned the pups did amazing on the flight and we were all happy to get into Lake Placid.

Saturday morning July 4th we work up and decided to take the dogs on a nice walk around Mirror Lake. We stopped by the Olympic Center for a quick photo shot before going to get some coffee at the Coffee Bar. We grabbed some pastries at Bluesberry Bakery across from our hotel.

We did some walking around and shopping in Lake Placid. The boys were good about wearing their hats. We went to Kara’s house for a BBQ which was fun. We also made sure to catch the Lake Placid 4th of July parade. Always fun to watch parades in other towns. Then we went back to our hotel and watched the end of the parade from our room. Since we had a late lunch we decided a food filler was some ice cream! There was a Ben and Jerry’s store close by so we grabbed ice cream and found a spot to watch the fireworks. There were lots of people in town so we arrived early and got a spot. The weather was nice so sitting outside was perfect. It did get a little chilly. We had a good time people watching before and after the fireworks.
